Time for some design tweaks

There are several things I’m not happy with in how this weblog is laid out. Thank goodness for iBlog…

Yeah, it’s been a while. My trip to Colorado was exhausting. And while I was back home last week, I only worked 3 days. I spent Thursday keeping track of the girls to help Michelle out, and Friday was a day to get a bunch of errands done. The weekend was another Son Harbor weekend. It’s fair to say I have hardly had any down time, and that which I’ve managed to get I’ve guarded jealously. My apologies to anyone who’s been waiting impatiently for an update.

By the way, iBlog 1.3.6 was released a couple of weeks ago, in case you missed that. I’ve been tweaking the standard style sheet and template that I’ve been using, and I’ve replaced all of the category graphics with one that’s considerably less threatening. You may have noticed one or two other things that are different, too. This is the first shot, though, because I plan to change several other things to spruce things up around here.

Over a month ago I promised to look for the Live Links commercials while I visited Boulder. While I can’t say that I have a definitive answer due to the nasty long hours I was working, I have to say that I don’t recall seeing even one. In fact I was impressed by the overall suitability of programming on the hotel system – but it is quite possible that it was purely the result of being satellite television and not subject to local stations needing to fill up advertising slots. In any event it was refreshing to not worry about what nasty commercials are going to show up at the next commercial break.

The refrigerator is both frigerating and re-frigerating. This is a welcome change from our earlier circumstances. At least our financial standing has improved to the point that we are able to absorb the repair cost.

Finally, because we’re now well past the originally projected arrival date of the iPod mini, I will give y’all a brief update on the sitchy-ation. It seems that “demand for the iPod mini has been incredible” and “[we] now expect to ship your iPod mini in three weeks.” That puts the new arrival date at May 5, 2004.

Das ist alles… at least for now.
