iTrip: the first four days

My micro-review of the Griffin Technology iTrip.

I love that I don’t have to plug in wires, or fiddle with the alignment of the cassette adapter.

I un-love: (a) fiddling with the volume to get the optimal setting (b) having the transmitter cut out during, say, a quieter passage in a symphony (c) the fact that I can’t seem to set it down anywhere inside my car and not have audible hiss (d) that the battery in my iPod is drained rather rapidly even though I turned off the LED.

I’m deciding whether I’m going to return it or eBay it… I’m sure it’s fine for a lot of people, but these annoyances might get the better of me.
