Wednesday we set aside time to spend with Michelle’s brother Chad’s family.

We all spent the latter part of the morning and early afternoon with Heidi and the kids. Since it was raining – again – this seemed like a pretty good plan; our kids kept their kids occupied, and vice versa. Shaelin and I left so she could get a nap while the elder two played some more, which freed up Michelle to have lunch with her mom. After that, Shaelin and Daddy got to play for a few hours together while Michelle went to see King Arthur with Chad. She really enjoyed it. I don’t have the faintest idea what it’s really about other than that it’s a new interpretation on the story. Apparently there’s no Morgana in this version. Michelle says it’s “a very different twist.” I probably won’t get a chance to see it until it’s out on video, though.

I wish I had thought to get some video of Shaelin today. She is really starting to progress in her language and motor skills. We had a really good time!
