RSS on a WAP-enabled phone

“Do you have WAP enabled mobile phone? Why not use it to read news or weblogs online? There are not many sites which offer WML pages but you’ll be surprised how many sites offer RSS feeds.”

It’s hard to put it any better than that. The RSS2WAP online conversion tool allows you to read RSS feeds on your otherwise RSS-challenged mobile phone. How cool is that? I should mention, though, that the quality of the experience is pretty dependent on how the RSS feed is set up. It’s definitely worth a try, though.

Word to the wise: typing in the URLs you get back from the server isn’t terribly fun. Use SMS or email to get them to the phone, if you can.
