Mac Deathmatch

Rob Enderle has done it again.

While Mr. Enderle makes a few (very few) accurate statements about Intel’s direction, he’s gone off and grossly misinterpreted, or downright fabricated, several “facts” about Apple and the Macintosh platform. Additionally, he fails utterly to understand the basis of Mac OS X (uh, which kernel was that, again?) and the significant amount of Apple-originated technology that goes into virtually every Macintosh, both hardware and software. I’m all for intelligent criticism of my choice of computing platform, but there’s a key word in that statement that seems to be lacking on one side of this, um, “debate.”
