This poem was written on May 11, 2006. Sadly, i haven’t actually been able to share any of the new music that floats around in my head since… but i was recently inspired by someone, and have taken the keyboard out again. (You know who you are… thank you again!)<\/p>\n
Anyway… original post follows. I’m preserving it from oblivion, because it reminds me of who I was on that date. Today looks a little brighter, by comparison.<\/p>\n
Computers suck.<\/strong><\/p>\n You know, like a vacuum. Which is where I feel like I’ve been, in a vacuum.\t<\/p>\n Splat.<\/p>\n This is the sound Again.<\/p>\n And again.<\/p>\n … and again.<\/p>\n Fifteen days ago I tried to upgrade I spent every When it lived again, And then, another computer Not me.<\/p>\n Her.<\/p>\n ARGH.<\/p>\n Spent money getting a happy, And then, the first computer… Splat.<\/p>\n There I go again.<\/p>\n I stayed up all night And it LIVES!<\/p>\n And I can go on with my life.<\/p>\n And extract these things from my head and this makes me<\/p>\n Happy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This poem was written on May 11, 2006. \nof my head hitting
\nthe wall.<\/p>\n
\none of my computers.
\nIt died.
\nI was sad.<\/p>\n
\nSPARE MOMENT
\nresurrecting the stupid thing.<\/p>\n
\nI cried with joy.<\/p>\n
\ndecided that THIS TOO
\nwas the time to get cranky.
\nOh no, it didn’t crash.
\nIt just decided to make life
\nfun
\nfor Michelle.<\/p>\n
\nbig, new, fast, quiet disk.
\nSpent a day getting it into one computer,
\nwhose drive I stole for the cranky one.
\nSpent a day getting the cranky one installed
\nand another day getting things back to
\nHow They Should Be.<\/p>\n
\nyes, the one mentioned at the beginning…
\ncrashed.<\/p>\n
\nand got a few hours of sleep
\nand worked on it all day.<\/p>\n
\nand share them, again.<\/p>\n
